As an example, let's say you are a CPA firm planning a QuickBooks seminar to be held next month at your office. It will be an all-day affair with a catered lunch. You intend to invite 20 of your existing clients that currently use QuickBooks and another 10 prospects hoping to garner their business. You need to know who will attend in advance to determine what size room you will need to set up, the materials you will need to prepare and the number of lunches to purchase.

In the past scheduling an event like this would have required a huge number of phone calls, mailings and emails - all of which take up more time than you have and in the case of mailing is typically too little, too late.
