Barry Friedman brings more than 35 years of experience in accounting and technology marketing to BizActions. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of GovCon, where he developed an online electronic commerce community that brought together thousands of IT contractors and hundreds of government entities. Prior to that he was the CEO of Friedman and Fuller, an accounting and business consulting firm, which was sold to American Express. He earned a MBA in Business Administration from Loyola College.
Gary Kravitz, Executive Vice President

As the Executive Vice President and a co-founder, Gary Kravitz is responsible for the company's inside sales group, as well as all sales and marketing. He is also a co-founder and executive vice president of The Profit Advisors, a business consulting firm that has trained hundreds of firms worldwide to maximize their profit potential. He has co-authored numerous books including "All About Earnings", "The Profit Game- How to Play-How to Win" and "100 Ways to Win the Profit Game". Prior to The Profit Advisors, Gary was the CEO of a technology consulting firm, that specialized in distribution automation. Gary holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.

As the Vice President of Technology, Ken Vaughn is responsible for the BizActions Information Technology infrastructure. Ken has worked as an Applications Programmer since 1989 and as an Internet Applications Developer since 1995. He has a diverse background developing and implementing complex high-end systems and intuitive web-based applications for organizations throughout the United States. Ken is a Certified ColdFusion Developer with extensive experience in database architecture.

As the Executive Editor, Ellen Katz is in charge of email newsletter content, including Articles, Announcements, and Timely Opportunities. Ellen has served as the editor of the Tax Savings Report newsletter and has written, reported and edited for numerous periodicals, including Research Recommendations, USA Today, USA Weekend Magazine, Money Magazine, Physician's Financial News, and the Boston Globe. She also founded a successful financial publication called Retirement Money.
Brenda Sleeper, Director of Sales & Business Development

Brenda is responsible for implementation of all sales programs, partnership campaigns, trade shows, special events and alliance opportunities. Ms. Sleeper is a seasoned sales and marketing executive, with a proven 20 year history of sales and business development success at large accounting firms. She has won numerous industry awards, including INPACT America's Award for Innovation & Management Excellence and two national marketing awards from the Association for Accounting Marketing and holds a BS from the University of Southern New Hampshire.

Julie Robertson joined the BizActions team in March of 2001. As the Director of Customer Support, she manages her ever-expanding department while continuing to assist a number of BizActions Sponsors reach their BizActions-related goals and objectives. Julie is also responsible for creating and managing the BizActions Bulletin, a monthly newsletter sent to all BizActions users. Before BizActions, Julie worked as a District Sales Manager at a local newspaper just outside of Baltimore, MD. She graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park with a degree in Journalism.

Through his A/V production company, Mike began working as a sub-contractor for BizActions in 2002. Within four years the amount of work being outsourced to him made it only reasonable for Mike to come on board full time. Today Mike's duties keep him busy developing and managing a number of BizActions marketing strategies and programs including BizActions Web site and various micro sites, landing pages and blogs, its Video Of The Week productions, implementation of the Online Tax Guides, creation of the Timely Opportunities widgets, and more.
